Dreams dreams dreams.

So I've always had some sort violent dreams, but I can't remember any of them involving guns until after my house was broken into. Most involved zombies or vampires or animals or something. But never guns.

This morning I dreamt that I was at an apartment complex with Gabe. We went down to his car and were about to get in when someone frantically shouted, "GUN!" At first I didn't understand what the person said, but then I saw a woman with this blank expression on her face. Her arm out in front of her, holding a handgun. Just was shooting at anyone and everyone in front of her. She got closer and closer. Gabe and I were separated, his old maroon Grand Prix between us, and a huge 15 passenger family van to my right. The woman was coming toward us from my right side. I knew she was close, so close, because she was shooting at the family trying to get into the van. I couldn't see her but I looked under the van and saw bodies falling to the floor. I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't run because she would see me, but I couldn't stay either because she'd shoot me. Then one of the family members tried to get away by crawling under the van. But the woman began shooting aimlessly under the van, hoping she's get the person under the van. She did. I heard footsteps. She was walking toward us. I dropped to the floor under the person she'd shot. Playing dead. The person's blood on me. Not moving. Not breathing. Just wishing she'd go away. Gabe was under his car. She didn't see him. But she kept staring at me. She had to have stared at me for at least 20 seconds. Then walked away. And scene.

I had a fight with someone, I don’t remember who. I decided to take a walk in hopes that it would make me feel better. The weather was nice and I found myself in front of an enormous building. I was curious as to what the building was so I opened the door and walked in. To my right were stairs. I began to go up them when down came a guy in a wheel chair! Then another, and then another. They were surfing down the stairs in wheelchairs! I finally got to the top of the stairs and saw a bunch of people in hospital gowns. Some people were happy and some people were sad, but what they had in common was that they were all dying.

I began to feel uncomfortable when I saw a nurse walking toward me. I pretended to be lost and she told me to go to the 9th floor. Now, I had no idea what was at the 9th floor, but I just agreed and asked for directions, anything to get out of there. She pointed me to an elevator. The doors were shutting so I had to run to catch it. Someone stopped the door from shutting. A young, beautiful blonde woman in scrubs was standing in the elevator. Naturally, I stepped in and looked down. But she said hello and I said hello back. Then she asked where I was going and I replied, “the 9th floor. I’m lost.” She said, “I’m going to the cafeteria. I’m hungry.” Then we just stood quietly.
"You want to come eat?" she said.
"Yeah I guess I’m hungry too." IIIII said.
The blonde girl just looked at me and smiled. Laughed a little. I looked at her confused and embarrassed, “What?”.
"I asked if you were sure you wanted to go up to the 9th floor, not if you were hungry. Buuuuut, you should come have lunch with me anyway"
So we’re standing there in this elevator with glass walls. This ride is a lot longer than it should be, but I could see a giant swimming pool. The blonde girl pointed out where the cafeteria was, we had to walk by the pool to get there.
We finally hit the first floor. Then suddenly someone started calling out at the blonde girl, he started walking faster toward us, faster until his walking became running. The blonde girl started running so I started running. I was confused but it was exciting so i went along with it.

They guy was chasing us around the pool and the girl jumped in. Now, I don’t know what I was thinking when I jumped in, because I can’t swim, but I didn’t die so it was okay. We escaped this guy, but now we were soaking wet and the sun was starting to go down.

We walked to the girl’s car and headed toward a gas station where we both changed into something warm.

Turns out she didn’t work at that hospital. She just liked visiting the sick people.

Oh.

Are you ever just like, I can't with you right now. And you know you don't mean it, but it's how you feel in that moment, but know you won't later. *shrugs*
